Norwegian Cruise Line Continues Comeback with Two New Appointments

David Herrera, who previously served as Norwegian’s senior vice president of finance, strategy, and corporate development, is taking over as the line’s chief consumer sales and marketing officer. Herrera has over 25 years of business experience and has been with Norwegian since 2015.

Norwegian, whichmost recently launched Bliss from L.A. as part of its Great Cruise Comeback, said the moves are part of a focus on the “importance of meaningful connections” and preparing “for the exciting year ahead.”
"David boasts over 25 years of robust business experience, most recently leading and growing the Company’s Consumer Research and Finance and Strategy teams during the most challenging time in our history. And Chris has delivered some of the brand’s most engaging efforts including our new editorial content platform, ‘EMBARK with NCL,’ among other breakthrough story-telling initiatives, providing travelers with a front-row seat to our people and products as well as the palpable passion that propels our brand,” Sommer added.
