Star Clippers Lifts Passenger COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate
byDori Saltzman/Effective at the start of the winter Caribbean and Central American sailing season, Star Clippers will no longer require passengers to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Unvaccinated guests will need to present a negative antigen test, performed within 48 hours of embarkation or a negative RT-PCR test, performed within 72 hours of embarkation. The test must be administered by an authorized party; home tests will not be accepted.
Passengers who are fully vaccinated (with at least all primary series vaccine doses) will not have to present a negative antigen or PCR test. Proof of vaccination is required to waive testing requirement.
The new policy is already in effect on Royal Clipper and goes into effect on Star Clipper beginning November 19, 2022 and on Star Flyer beginning November 26, 2022.
