United Airlines is expanding its fall schedule with more than 120 new flights, specifically built around some of the U.S.’s biggest college football markets.
United said on Tuesday that 80% of its loyalty customers are “avid college football fans” according to a recent survey. To better serve that market, it is adding connections to more than 45 away games for some of the best teams in the country, including Alabama, Oklahoma, Iowa, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and more.
连接包括:
- 阿拉巴马州伯明翰和德克萨斯州奥斯汀之间的两次新的直接往返航班。
- A direct, round-trip flight between Oklahoma City, Okla., and Lincoln, Neb. for the Sept. 17 Oklahoma and University of Nebraska game.
- A direct, round-trip flight between Madison, Wis., and Columbus, OH for the Sept. 24 Wisconsin and Ohio State game.
- A direct, round-trip flight between State College, Penn. and Detroit, Mich. for the Oct. 15 Penn State University and University of Michigan game.
- A direct, round-trip flight between Greenville S.C. and South Bend, Ind. for the Nov. 5 Clemson and University of Notre Dame game.
"College football fans love following their team on the road and this year we're making it easier than ever," said Michael Weeks, managing director of domestic schedule development and publication at United.
“我们正在不停地飞往该国一些历史悠久的足球城镇,包括南本德,哥伦布和巴吞鲁日,并大大扩展了我们在西海岸的服务,以帮助更多的PAC 12球迷旅行,为他们的团队加油助威。”
