Australian Outback Offers Agent Incentives
byRichard D'Ambrosio/Continuing the pushto drive more Americans to visit Australia, the country’s Northern Territory is offering a $100 incentive to travel agents who book four nights or more to the region between March 1 and July 1, 2018, with five preferred wholesale partners.
The Northern Territory, commonly referred to as “Australia’s outback,” is home to iconic Uluru (Ayers Rock), as well as Kakadu National Park, the country’s largest national park, and Aboriginal cultural tourism.
Northern Territory bookings must be made with participating wholesale partners to qualify for the $100 gift card incentive. Those suppliers are: Springboard, Down Under Answers, Goway, Aspire Downunder, Travel 2 and Qantas Vacations.
“我们希望大内地回报将帮助incentivize bookings to the Northern Territory, especially now that we’re in a time when travelers are in search of authentic and unique travel experiences,” said Tony Quarmby, General Manager of Marketing Tourism Northern Territory. “We know travel agents are some of our biggest allies in promoting all the wonderful products the Northern Territory has to offer, so we want to thank them for expanding the horizons of their clients in search of an Australian vacation.”
Agents also must complete the Aussie Specialist Northern Territory training module. Full lodging payment must be collected by December 31, 2018 for agents to receive the $100 incentive. If full payment is received before September 28, 2018, the gift card will be mailed by the end of October 2018.
