ELLE Expands Into Travel with ELLE Hospitality
byDori Saltzman/Elle, the fashion and lifestyle media brand, is expanding into the travel industry with the launch of Elle Hospitality, comprising two boutique concepts: Maison ELLE and ELLE Hotel. The first hotel in the Maison ELLE collection will open this fall in Paris.
“We are thrilled to launch ELLE into the world of hospitality,” said Constance Benqué, chairman of ELLE International. “Our brand’s success to date has been thanks to our innovation, our special relationship with women and we are proud to continue to challenge the status quo, as we enter a new era of travel. Our two concepts, starting with the openings of Maison ELLE in Paris and ELLE Hotel in Mexico will present exciting gateways that will allow guests to see the destinations through a new lens and through ELLE’s vision.”
根据该品牌的公告,Elle的热情款待“庆祝女性,设计和工艺,同时认真地适应了每个地方的环境和文化。”
“Beyond the hotels themselves, our guests look for meaning and a sense of belonging,” said Pascal Donat, CEO of Valotel and Studio V, which will own and operate the first Maison ELLE in Paris. “That’s why today, bringing to life a brand’s emotional connection with the consumer, through hospitality experiences and design, is central to our approach with Maison ELLE.”
The Maison ELLE concept, for instance, is to provide a convenient, home away from home in the heart of the city it’s located in. It is positioned to be affordable, both for weekend breaks, as well as extended stays. In keeping with the ELLE brand, the space will feature chic décor and design influenced by the latest fashion trends.
To operate and manage its properties, ELLE Hospitality has aligned with three existing hospitality group partners via a licensing deal. The partners include ACTUR in Mexico, Whitney Robinson International in the Middle East, and Studio V/Valotel in Europe.
Scheduled Hotel Openings
The first Maison ELLE will open this fall in the 17th district of Paris near the Arc de Triomphe. It will feature 25 guestrooms and suites, along with a spa.
The first ELLE Hotel, in partnership with ACTUR, will open in the summer of 2023 in Jalisco, Mexico. It will be located along a pristine stretch of Mexico’s Pacific coast and will offer an eco-conscious, luxury lifestyle community atmosphere.
Central to its design concept, ELLE Hotels will leverage local talent from aspiring female designers and artisans to imagine its guestrooms, suites and communal spaces.
