U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has postponed the previously announced reopening of Trusted Traveler Programs Enrollment Centers until at least Aug. 10, 2020, as coronavirus cases in the South and Western U.S. surge.
CBP originally planned to reopen TTP Enrollment Centers, which handle Global Entry enrollment, on July 6. Program applicants who scheduled interviews at enrollment centers in July and early August will have to reschedule.
The Trusted Travel Programs also includes Nexus, which allows expedited entry to the U.S. from Canada, and Sentri, which allows expedited entry to the U.S. from Canada and Mexico.
现在,每个申请人都有有条件地批准其申请以完成入学过程之日起的485天。此外,CBP将扩大可信赖的旅行者计划的收益,这些会员在当前会员资格到期之前最多申请续签长达18个月。
CBP的Enrollment on Arrivalprogram will remain operational. This program is the best option for conditionally approved Global Entry applicants to complete the enrollment process without pre-scheduling an interview at an enrollment center.
